My favourite baking appliances

Here they are, in all of their glory. My trustworthy baking appliances.

Over the years, they have helped me bake up a storm, and I have so much appreciation for these guys, as they have helped eliminate any unnecessary hard labour during all of my baking frenzies!

In no particular order…….. We have……

 The Kenwood K Mix

The Kenwood K Mix was actually a Christmas gift from my husband a few years ago. Best present ever! I swear by it. The fact that it can hold up to 5 litres means it can handle large quantities of ingredients each time.

This is exceptionally handy when making meringue, or for numerous batches of cupcake batter, all in one go.

The Kenwood Multipro Food Processor

Another reliable Kenwood appliance. The Multipro food processor.  This is so good for making bread dough! Also, the additional thermal resistant blender is a nice bonus for making healthy smoothies or soups.

The thermal blender always makes an appearance in the new year, when we have well and truly over indulged on all of the sweet things at Christmas time!

The Nutri Blitzer

The JML Nutri Blitzer is basically a small and nifty food processor. This gadget gets whipped out most weekends when I make my household favourite protein pancakes. It literally blitzes those porridge oats in seconds, then I add in my additional ingredients to whip up my pancake batter in seconds.

Zero hassle, zero mess! Exactly how I like my weekends to be :)

The Wilton Chocolate Melting Pot

The Wilton Chocolate Melting Pot. Perfect when making cake pops, chocolate covered strawberries, or for drizzling over desserts. It can be used with normal chocolate or candy melts, and is so easy to wash as the silicone insert is removable and completely dish washer safe too.

Who else thinks the smell of melting chocolate is just to die for?

The Russell Hobbs Electric Whisk

Last, but by no means least, the Russell Hobbs hand whisk. Don't  let its size fool you. It is small, but it's mighty! Comes straight to my aid when I need some double cream whipped up quickly.

Either when I'm making my mini cheese cakes, or even better, an Irish Coffee or a Hot Chocolate on a cold night.

Mmmmmm…. Whips that cream in a jiffy!
